Tucson Radon Inspections - Seller Viewpoint | |

As a Tucson Home Seller you might have a Tucson Radon Inspection done by the buyer of your home. While not a common practice here in Tucson, some buyers choose to have radon inspections done when they buy a Tucson Home.
If you are using the Arizona Association of Realtors approved Residential Resale Real Estate Purchase Contract the buyer will have an inspection period included in the contract, which is typically 10 days. During this period a buyer may have a radon inspection done in addition to any other inspections they are doing on your Tucson home. The buyer can choose any of the Tucson radon inspection companies they wish would like to perform the inspection. The radon inspection might be scheduled to occur at the same time the regular home inspection is being done but possibly not. It just depends on the inspector's schedule. We would attempt to schedule the radon inspection to occur at the same time we were doing the regular home inspection. That way we are all at the home anyway and don't have to make a second trip back for each inspection. This might not be possible but we would try. If any radon is found the buyers have the right to cancel the contract or ask you to remediate the radon issue. A copy of the Tucson radon inspection report prepared by the inspector will be provided to you to verify what was found. It will be easy to read and understand and everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. Other inspections that are commonly done are Tucson Termite Inspections and Tucson Roof Inspections. Some people even have Tucson Mold Inspections. Other Buyers have Tucson Structural Inspections or Tucson Pool Inspections. If there is a septic system serving the property a Tucson Septic Inspection must be completed. | |
