The Sabino Canyon Tram is an easy and convenient way to tour Sabino Canyon, especially if you are not a hiker. The first Trams in Sabino Canyon started operation in October of 1978 and have been going in one fashion or another ever since.
Sabino Canyon Tours came into being in early 1985 and since then they have operated the Sabino Canyon Tram which provides wonderful narrated tours of Sabino Canyon. The Tram ride takes a little less than an hour and the narrator explains how Sabino Canyon was formed millions of years ago, the history of the Canyon and talks about all the creatures that call Sabino Canyon home. There are several different tram rides including the Mount Lemon Tram, the Bear Canyon Tram and they even have special Night Tram Rides for special occasions. Take Your Camera!
