Vistoso Village is a small Age Restricted Retirement Community in Oro Valley on the Northwest outskirts of Tucson. This small Gated Community of 271 lots is centrally located in the Planned Development of Rancho Vistoso and close to Neighborhood Shopping and Medical Facilities.
Vistoso Village is one of the smaller Retirement Communities in Tucson as compared to some of the larger developments with a few thousand homes. Because of it's smaller size the neighborhood is considered by many to be a little closer knit and a little friendlier than some of it's larger counterparts. This is a very friendly and welcoming community.
While Vistoso Village is a smaller Retirement Community it has a lot going for it. The Central Location is a huge plus, they do have a community hall with some meeting rooms and other facilities including a ballroom for neighborhood parties (or Private Parties, such as Christmas Parties or Wedding Receptions). They also have a nice community pool at the clubhouse and some structured activities for the residents.
A home in Vistoso Village is typically smaller in size which suits retirees quite well and most have a two bedroom or a two bedroom and den configuration. The homes in Vistoso Village are also newer than some of the other Retirement Communities with most being built in the early 2000's
Nearby subdivisions include Stone Canyon to the North, Sun City Oro Valley to the Northeast and The Highlands at Dove Mountain to the Northwest.
Vistoso Village homes are age restricted so no school information is provided.
