Parker Canyon Lake is located South of Tucson and about 30 miles Southwest of Sierra Vista. The lake covers about 130 acres making it the largest lake in the Coronado National Forest. Parker Canyon has a campground with over 60 camping sites. They do have drinking water available at the sites.
Parker Canyon Lake is at an elevation of 5400 feet so the mornings and evenings might be a little cool. Take some extra clothes just in case. This lake is open year round and has lots of fish. They have Rainbows and bass, Northern Pike, Sunfish and Catfish too. But take note: they only allow boat motors of 8 horsepower or less!
They have a little fishing pier at Parker Canyon and they also have a concession stand. HAVE FUN!
