Rocky Point Home Loans: Find out everything you need to know about financing Mexico Property from our preferred Arizona Lender. At this time due to the economic downturn we are not aware of any U.S. lenders that will loan on property in Rocky Point. We will update this site as soon as we locate a U.S. Lender who will work this market.
We recommend that if you are going to finance a home in Rocky Point that you use a US Lender. There are a few around who will loan on Rocky Point Condos and homes but be sure to pick one with experience in these loans. Loans for Mexican property are similar, but different, than your standard USA home loan so it is important to pick a lender who is knowledgeable about the process and has a proven track record. Expect to pay a little more for these loans. Typically the lenders want 30% down and the interest rates will usually be a couple points higher than similar vacation property loans in the US. Even at these higher rates our US lenders are a much safer bet than using the developer financing which also carries a standard 30% down but can have interest rates of up to 12% or more. Title Insurance is available for property purchased in Mexico and our preferred lenders are familiar with that process also. | |
