El Charro is a must visit if you are looking for authentic Mexican Food in Tucson. As one of the top Tucson Mexican Restaurants, El Charro has a collection of awards and distinctions that would be the envy of any restaurant in the world.

Nothing fancy here, this is just true down to earth Tucson Mexican food! It's original and it's good. Be warned however, the chairs here are wood and they are really hard! But it's worth it because the food is so good.

Dining at El Charro is a local tradition, we all do it, we take our visiting guests there and we always enjoy it. Try the Carne Seca, it's Pats favorite!

They also have a gift shop with many interesting items to choose from.

Driving Directions (downtown): From Speedway & Stone; Go South on Stone, Go West on Council Street to Court Ave. It's right there, Park & enjoy. Map
