El Tour De Tucson comes to Tucson every fall on the weekend before Thanksgiving and attracts Bicycle Racers from all over the world. Race day for the El Tour De Tucson this year is on Saturday November 23, 2013.
The El Tour De Tucson Bike Race is an event for the whole family with novice, intermediate, advanced and professional riders competing each year. Many folks make the annual trek to Tucson for this fun family event. There are 109, 79, 66 or 40 mile courses as well as Children's Fun Rides of 6, 3 and 1/4 mile routes.
This year's race is shaping up to be a great one! Wintertime temperatures in Tucson for race week usually average in the low 40's for start time and reach the mid 70's by the afternoon so it makes for perfect race weather.
This is a Large Race with as many as 10,000 entrants estimated for this year's El Tour De Tucson Race. Be sure to book your hotel rooms early because they fill up fast.
