A good description of the 4th Avenue Street Fair is "Crazy Fun", this event is a blast! They put the Fourth Avenue Street Fair on twice a year, once in the spring and once in the winter. Fair hours are typically 10AM to 6PM but the party lasts long after that.

There are hundreds of Arts and Crafts booths, dozens of Food Vendors, Live Music, Street Performers and all kinds of entertainment. This blowout lasts for three days and lots of fun. It is hard to see it all in one day, so we often go down a couple times.

The local merchants are all open, of course, and they put out tables in front of their shops full of interesting items for you to select from. Early in the day is calmer than later in the afternoon so if you have small kids you may want to go early. If you like to party, go later in the day.

There are huge crowds at this event which is another reason to go early, it's easier to find a parking spot, get around, shop and get something to eat without standing in long lines. If you don't want to eat outside, there are lots of interesting little bars and restaurants to try out.

One of Brenda's best recommendations is to always take sunglasses and a hat and put on sun lotion as you are out in the sun all day and even in the spring and winter it can get hot, especially if you are from out of town.

This is a really fun event and Brenda and Pat go down to it every year and always have fun. For some Fun in Tucson head on down to the Street Fair on Fourth Avenue!
