Lakeside Park is another Tucson Urban Lake and is part of the Tucson Municipal Fishing Program. The Lake is located in Lakeside Park in Southeast Tucson, at the Northwest corner of Sarnoff Drive & Stella Rd. Lakeside Park, being an urban lake, does require the Urban Fishing License.
Lakeside Park is about 14 acres and fairly shallow, with an average depth of about 15 feet, although portions of the lake are as deep as 35 feet. The Lake is only open during daylight hours and as on all the urban lakes gas motors are prohibited. Only Small boats and canoes are allowed and you must have all the proper flotation devices aboard. All the regular Urban Lake rules here like no swimming or wading, leash law applies, no glass containers, no feeding the birds and so on.
Lakeside Park is stocked with most of the regulars, Bass, Crappie, Catfish and Rainbow Trout in season. Another great little Urban Lake for some casual easy fishing or boating.
