The Silverbell Golf Course is a great little Municipal course. There are nice views or the Catalina Mountains to the East and the Tucson Mountains to the Southwest. Silverbell is built on the banks of the Santa Cruz River on the Northern outskirts of Tucson.
They call Silverbell a Desert Course but that's a little bit of a stretch; true it is built in the desert, but you do not have any tee shots over raw desert or any shots that carry across open desert washes. Take your camera along for some good pictures.
Silverbell Golf Course is characterized by lots of grass, several small lakes, wide fairways and large greens. Silverbell is a pretty wide open course with a few trees scattered around just to complicate your shots once and a while. There is also one tough shot over the lake so watch out for that one.
Silverbell is a Municipal Course and offers all the normal amenities including a Lighted Driving Range in case you get the urge for some twilight practice.
There are no homes for sale at the Silverbell Golf course. This is one of the Tucson Municipal Golf Courses.
